How to deal with Porn in your home
The danger of porn is especially real for men because we are driven by images. Once you see it, you cannot get it out of your mind.
The question today is how do you protect against it?
First of all, smart phones are very dangerous for this reason. Instant access is available at all times.
What should you do if you find your child has been looking at porn?
1. Have the discussion about he got there.
2. Don’t be reactive. Be calm.
3. Talk about how it depicts women.
4. Tell him how it makes you (mom) feel.
Moms ought to have the conversation with their sons about the danger and the demeaning nature of porn toward women. Mom is a woman, and sons need to make that connection of how much they are demeaning even their mom by viewing it.
