Is it okay to love your kids more than your spouse?
You are skating on thin ice when the kids are more important that your spouse.
I like to say, ”The kids need to be like Avis Rent-a-car, #2 and trying harder!”
Remember, wives, your husband is a little bit like a 4 year old who needs your attention, respect, and love. He needs to know he is needed by you. So, to you women, you cannot focus your love and attention on your kids and ignore your husband.
And husbands, you need to keep the romance going with your wife. She needs to know you are there to support her, and if you want romance from her, you must romance her!
If you want a healthy marriage when the kids are grown and gone, the priority must be on you, as a couple, even while the kids are little..or someday there will be no family anything.
